The Composition of St. Yared which Zǝmmare is an Ethiopian literally resource inscribed in the Gə‟əz language and containing an enormously rich substance. It is a very rich source of Social, Historical, Religious, Economical and Cultural events. But it is not well studied by modern scholars about its features and social values. If the researcher himself have certified and taught for five years in this subjuct, he didn‟t understand the content of this Zǝmmare without its hymnal purpose. So he wants to study and aware the content and Contribution of Zǝmmare that are social values. The main aim of this thesis is to analyze the contribution of Mäṣḥäfä Zǝmmare for social values and describe the literary features and intertextuality of the text with other liturgical books.This research paper has used qualitative method of study. In the case of this research, document analysis is the main source of data. The analysis in this paper draws on Social Values that are Birth, Marriage, Death and Ethics. These values listed in this paper are practiced in many areas of our country and strength public to public relation today. The thesis concluded that on selected social aspects based on values that are applied through different life experiences. Finaly, the thesis recommends for other researchers to conduct a study on cultural, historical, doctrinal values and other uncovered issues in this study.
