Cataloguing of manuscripts is one of the thematic area of research in manuscript studies. However, the work of manuscript cataloguing is still unreachable comparing with the huge number of manuscripts found within different Churches, Monasteries, and private hands. This study aimed to catalogue nine (9) hagiographical manuscripts of Dagəmawit Däbrä Libanos Azäzo Täklä Häymanot monastery. The research area and the manuscripts were selected purposively. The data were collected through fieldwork and inventory. In other words, data were collected through observing, measuring, inspecting and photographing nine manuscripts. The research method is qualitative research apporoch. Most of the manuscripts are dated to 19th century and all are one handwrittings. Thus, they are multi-textual in their contents. Colophon, purchase note, ownership and donation notes were also recorded in most manuscripts. The manuscripts are stored unsystematically and all are mixed up they are not and they are not put in proper places. Therefore, the Church Adminisratives, Tourism Offices of Zone and Wäräda, Diocese of Central Gondar and Department of Geez Language should play their roles for the preservation of such types of manuscripts via building the standard museum to secure the benefits of manuscripts. en_US
