This research paper was aimed at investigatingfactors affecting the growth of manufacturing MSE’s in Woreta town. The study adopted descriptive statistics and explanatory research design. The data was collected through a self-structured questionnaire. The research instrument was piloted for validity through content related method and reliability through half-split criterion. The target population was all manufacturing enterprises operating in Woreta town. The study used stratified sampling to target 140 manufacturing MSE’s in Woreta town. The return rate from the survey was 140 questionnaires which formed about 100%. Data was analyzed through the use of a computer software SPSS. The data collected was analyzed by descriptive statistics and descriptive narration. Factor analysis was done to determine factors affecting the growth of manufacturing MSE’s. Analyzed data was presented in form of tables. The result of this study found that there was a positive and significant correlation that marketing related factors, business regulations and laws, financial factors, management factor, government support factor and entrepreneurial factors increases positively and manufacturers growth increase positively. Moreover, the result as shown in the regression model summary table the combination marketing related factors, business regulations and laws, financial factors, management factor, government support factor and entrepreneurial factors explained 77% ofthe variation in the growth of manufacturing MSE’s. The F-result showed that in the ANOVA table indicates 74.99 and also the significance value was0.00 which is less than 0.05 thus the model is statistically significance in predicting the dependent variables on factors affecting manufacturing MSE’s. This shows that the combination of the independent variables predicts the dependent variable. The study also found that even though TVETs provide industry extension service i.e. technology transfer, technical skill training, KAIZEN and entrepreneurship training supports it does not in the way that help to grow enterprises. Based on the major findings, recommendations were forwarded to manufacturers; on how to make their businesses grow up and for those governmental institutions (TVED offices, Micro finances and TVET College) on how to provide their services on the way that added value in those enterprises.
