Result: about 47.3% ofrespondents had good knowledge, towards choosing the right food.In multivariable analysis being male [AOR=0.51, 95%CI: (0.31, 0.84)] was negatively associated with knowledge of type 2 DM patients for choosing the right food. Conclusion: About 47.3% of the type 2 diabetic patients had good knowledge towards choosing the right food.
