Abstract:
Previous to this study, no identified research projects had looked specifically determinants of
employee engagement in the field of human services in Ethiopia. Therefore, this empirical
study was conducted to understand the determinants of employee engagement specifically in
ANRS Public Sector Office. A theoretical foundation was compiled for the study based on
the literature review. The research is cross-sectional field survey and co relational study. For
this study a Multi-stage sampling was used, 171 employees were selected as the sample of
the study. The standardized measurement scales were adapted and distributed to 171
employees in the form of questioners but, 161 respondents filled and replied were found
valid for analyzed. The SPSS were used to analyze the study hypothesis in state. Results
indicate no differences in engagement scores for males and females, for education level, or
for years of service in the bank. The results of the study also indicate that the work live
factors listed in the study have a significant effect on Employee Engagement in ANRS Public
Sector Office.
