Abstract:
The objective of this study was to investigate the effect organizational silence on
employee performance by mediating the role of organizational citizenship behavior in
ANRS trade and industry bureau, ANRS finance and Economy bureau and ANRS civil
service bureau. A total of 284 employees participated in the study and the data’s were
analyzed using descriptive and multivariate analysis, specific, structural equation
model. The results show that organizational silence have significant and negative
effect both on organizational citizenship behavior and employee performance with a
p-value of 0.036& 0.043 and unstandardized regression coefficient of -0.136 & -0.115
respectively but organizational citizenship behavior does not have significant effect
on employee performance on selected regional bureaus with p-value of 0.456 . So the
researcher concludes that organizational citizenship behavior does not have
mediating role between organizational silence and employee performance in the
selected ANRS bureaus. The implications of the findings are discussed and
recommendations made.
