Abstract:
The objective of this study is to examine determinants of entrepreneurial intention of college
students. Specifically, the study tried to examine the impact of Gender, Entrepreneurship
education, Social norm, perceived government policy and Perceived access to finance to
entrepreneurial intention of private College students in Bahir Dar. The quantitative approach
was employed as research design. Simple Random sampling technique was used to draw sample
from population. Data was collected though questionnaire and collected data was analyzed
through descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and independent t-test. The significant
difference in entrepreneurial intention was found between male and female students. The
result indicated that there is significant positive relationship exist between Social norm and
perceived access to finance. And also insignificant negative relationship exists between
Entrepreneurial education and perceived government policy with entrepreneurial intention
