Abstract:
Background: Stunting (being shortness for once age) is a critical public health problemof developing countries.Its prevalence in Amhara Region is the highest (41.3%) which is above the national average (37%). Nutrition sensitive agriculture activity have been carried out by the government of Ethiopia for the two decades to improve the nutritional status of the community, particularly in children under five years of age. However, prevalence of childhood, stunting and its associated factors between irrigation user and non-irrigation user kebeles area is not known.
