Increasing globalization and dynamism in the economy has made it necessary for established companies to regenerate themselves and renew their ability to compete, this is the goal of corporate entrepreneurship activities, which involves extending the firm’s domain of competence and corresponding opportunity set, through internally generated new resource combination. Innovation human capital in Ethiopia is still not on par for global competitiveness. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship & effects of determinants of corporate entrepreneurship in the corporate entrepreneurship of commercial bank of Ethiopia. Specifically, this study examines the relationship among antecedents of corporate entrepreneurship with corporate entrepreneurship. The study employed both primary and secondary data were collected through the use of questionnaire administered to selected employees of commercial bank of Ethiopia in different level of management. A sample of 314 employees amongst commercial bank of Ethiopia employees were participants in this study. The sample originated from various demographic background. The findings were tested using various statistical techniques such as reliability analysis, descriptive statistics, and correlation regression analysis. The results of the analysis showed that there is a relation and significant effect between corporate entrepreneurship factors and corporate entrepreneurship of the organization. Corporate entrepreneurship was significantly and positively influenced by work discretion and management support at 0.05 significant level. However reward and reinforcement, time availability, and organizational boundaries had insignificant effect with corporate entrepreneurship activities. Managers should also ensure better management of knowledge by means of documenting and disseminating knowledge internally, this will provide employees with the tools to innovate, furthermore, employees should be assigned a greater degree of discretionary decision making thereby empowering employee. Empowerment of employees will further be enhanced by creating a culture of trust, lastly, managers need to actively support the learning process of employees, for purposes of skills development.
