dc.description.abstract Continuous and interval aerobic training are a types of training activities that has a positive effect on trainees in physical fitness level as a result of this, it obtains a wide attention nearby and worldwide, So it concerns with the variety of training method as a basic requirement for improvement of physical fitness. Because many students have faced health related physical fitness problem due to lack of proper training mode. The purpose of the present study was to determine comparing effect of continuous verses interval aerobic training on some selected physical fitness variables contestant male student trainees at Simada town. The study design was Quasi-Experimental method. 38 volunteer contestant males student were taken population (purposive) as a sample studies their age was17-19 years had divided through randomization into 2 equal groups, Continuous (n=19) training group and interval (n=19) training group performed continuous and interval training respectively 3days/ week for 3-month and 30-50minute per session for walking, running and stair climbing training. Both groups undertaken normal training program. And both groups had taken pre and post-tests.so, all subjects participated in 3 selected physical fitness tests: cardiovascular endurance fitness was measured using 12minute run test, muscular endurance was measured by 60 second sit-up test & body composition was measured by BMI. The collected data were analyzed using statistical package for social science version 23 software by paired sample t-test and independent sample t- test of significant at 0.05 level of confidence. Both groups were significantly increased cardio respiratory fitness, muscular endurance, and body composition as pre to post test. However, the results of the study indicate that, continuous and interval training group were significant difference in level of cardio respiratory fitness (p=.014, MD=P=-172.316) and muscular endurance (P=.005, MD=-3.842). Whereas, in the level of body composition were not a significant difference between two groups (p=.853), since continuous verses interval training group were equal effect on body composition.so continuous training reject and interval training at cardiovascular endurance and muscular endurance accept, at body composition reject. Therefore, 12week interval training is better than continuous trainings improvement of cardio respiratory fitness and muscular endurance. Whereas, body composition no change.
