dc.description.abstract The study was conducted to assess the effect of anaerobic exercise training on football project players in Nefasmewucha secondary school. The study employed experimental research design. Thus, a total of 34 male football project players of Nefasmewucha secondary school with the age of (EG =18.05 CG =17.82) had divided randomly into two equal groups. Both the trainers (EG, n=17) and (CG, n=17) were participated in three days per a week of one hour per session of training but only EG participated in additional two days per a week. Both groups had taken pretest and post testing of physical fitness tests. Speed endurance fitness was measured using 30m sprint test and agility skill was measured using Illinois run test and SEMO agility test. The data collected from the study subject was analyzed using SPSS version 20 software by paired t-test with level of significant at 0.05. The results indicated that anaerobic exercise significantly improve 30m sprint test of speed, Illinois run test and SEMO agility test at (P<0.05) for the treatment group. Based on this resulting, it can be concluded that three month anaerobic exercise training has positive effect on improvement of speed performance and agility variables. en_US
