The main objective of ihis research L5 lo/111dy the possibility of producing bioetharo! from mJQ<:(uia am/ mango seeds through the separate hydrolysis and [ermentation (S!{F) process using the Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast. Ethanol is a clear, colourless; jlammabie. oxygenated hydrocarbon with the chemical formula C~IlsON. Ethanol has been mad« .. since ancient rimes byjermemin:; sugars. Ethano! .fimnenwrion from hydro(v:ed mango or avocado seed WCJ.J analyzed in the present research and optimized by 11si11g diffemmfacwrs. the effects of hydrolysis time and acid concentratton on the amount of w10/ sugar concentration and 1'Jla1 of fermenuuion time and pll on the ethanol yield were studied . Maximum tow/ .wgar content from :\fanga seeds 32%(1v!W) wCLt recorded after 4 days hyd1·oiysis using 2% H:if>O, and that of Avocado seeds 31. 7%(w!wj was recorded after 3 days using; the same acid concenmqton. At optimum pH (5.5), the maximum ethanol yield from mango seed: was 6. 05% .
