dc.description.abstract woven fabric is widely used from the textile industry to impart of sound reduction or to reduce sound disturbance for different car interior parts and building area. The overall objective of this work was to investigated the effect of thickness. Characteristics of non-woven fabrics bulk density, areal density and air permeability property of non-woven chemical bonded fabric for sound absorption material. This research focused on development of non-woven fabric used waste fiber for sound reduction materials. thickness, density and air permeability were the important factors selected to develop non-woven chemical bonded fabric by uses PVA chemicals. Three non-woven chemical bonded samples were produced. The fabric also tested physical parameters at mention above that are air permeability, areal density, bulk density and thickness of sample fabric. The result has been analyzed by quantitative analysis method. The finding of the study indicates that when the thickness of sample increased, the sample of non-woven fabrics areal density, bulk density and resistance of air permeability increased and the physical parameter of non-woven fabric increased the capacity of sound absorption non-woven fabric was increased. Key words: Non-woven fabric, fabric thickness, bulk density, areal density and air permeability. en_US
