dc.description.abstract	The purpose of this research is to asses the challenges of intramural and extramural sport program in Bahir Dar preparatory schools through descriptive survey research method. In order to assess the schools intramural and extra mural school sport program the researcher uses questionnaire, interview, observation as a data collection instrument and Amhara mass-media document. The data was collected from physical education teachers, students and principals trainees through purposive sampling technique .Thus both qualitative and quantitative data were collected. The result of the study indicate equipment and finical problem and physical education teacher interest were a great challenge on the intramural as well extramural sport program. Finally it is recommended that, fulfilling the school sport facilities and equipments for the respective technical support concerned body are necessary.	en_US
