dc.description.abstract he main purpose of this study was to identify the factors that affect the performance of U-17 female football players in the case of Chagni and Dang/a Town female football projects, Awi Zone, Amhara Region. To do this a descriptive survey method was conducted. In this study 46 U-17 female football trainees, 2 coaches, 16 player's parents and 8 sport administrative officers were participated. The samples of this study, two coaches and 46 trainees of both projects are selected by using availability/comprehensive sampling method of purposive sampling. In addition to this, 8 officers from both Chagni and Dangla Sport Administration offices and 16 players' parents are selected by maximum variation sampling technique of non probability sampling. Beside this adequate amount of data was collected by using multiple data collection tools. Predominantly questionnaires were used as a major data collection instrument. However in order to assure the. validity of the data that obtained from questionnaires triangulation method was conducted by using structured and semi-structured interview, field observation and document analysis. The data that obtained from questionnaires, interview, field observation and document analysis was analyzed quantitatively and private investor, 'less emphasis given to female footballs from sport administrative and . ABSTRACT - player parents highly affect the performance of U-17 female football players in Chagni and Dang/a Town. Players' parents have a responsible for providing adequate amount of nutrition, equipment and moral encouragement to their children. Due to this it recommended that, the administrative sport officers .and coaches should be create a parent orientjtion meeting for the aware nesses of the necessity of sport, such as economical, social, psychological and the contribution of education for the society and the type of'tiiet which is ea£en before and after training. en_US
