Abstract:
The main purpose of this study was to find.the key factors affecting balance participation of high
academic achiever students in HP E practical class and sport. This descriptive survey type of
study conducted with all three preparatory schools in NLSC in Addis Ababa 120 HAAS as
sample from 400 students, six of their HP E teachers and three of their school principals were
selected. Quantitative and qualitative approaches were applied and triangulated with analyzing
and interpretation of the data collected through questionnaire, observation and interview. The
data were analyzed using by frequency, percentage and description. The main research result
showed that school principals and parents were believed school based sport activities have not
overly important to the academic arena. Due to this differential and cultural factor they often
ignored even the possible supports to it, so the result indicated that there were shortage of sport
materials, facilities and many other possible sport benefits. Due to this key factor there was
negative influence in the quality and balance educational outcomes of high academic achiever
students in NLSC preparatory schools in Addis Ababa. Based on the result educators should
trained with new and balance educational management skills.
