With regard to quantitative analysis, the different aspects of the textbook such as text narratives, figures and diagrams, end-of-unit questions and summaries, and activities failed to engage students' and teachers' for active student learning. Even though activities are missed from units 6 and 7, the 'lJ~Oportion of activities in the textbook was observed to be good but this does not mean the activities energize students for active learning _.Jo .. environment. Generally, summaries, questions, and figures and diagrams found were to be discouraging for active learning environments. en_US
