dc.description.abstract Tq1 purpose of this study was to assessing the implementation of grades fifth and sixth science radio education program production and implementation. Data for this study have been drawn from grades 5 and 6 students and science teachers of 20 selected ~ ABSTRACT primary schools. In these schools, there are a total of 5 773 grades five and six students and forty science teachers/or gradesfive and six. 400 of the students and a/140 science teachers have been involved in filling questionnaires. Observation was made in twenty . . sections that is one section of each school, the data collected through questionnaire and observation methods were analyzed based on percentage and narration. On the light of analyzed data, the major findings of the study pointed out that although efforts are being made to practice science radio education program broadcasts produced, science radio education program is not produced effectively; classroom teachers did not apply effective radio utilization activities during broadcasting; there is a shortage of support and supplementary materials, and it has lack of quality; educational media centers and schools do not work co-operatively for effective radio education en_US
