dc.description.abstract The primary job of commercial banks is mobilizing saving deposit. Due to the growing need for finance from new and existing business of the country coupled with the bank own desire to make profit from those finances, deposit mobilization becoming the critical success factor for commercial banks. The main objective of this study was to identify the effect of product diversification on deposit mobilization of Awash bank; evidence from branches in Bahir Dar by using cross sectional survey. The study used primary data collected from Bahir Dar town branches. A quantitative approach and explanatory design are employed. Data analysis is done using STATA version 14. Based on the data collected and the analysis made the researcher identified that Major Product & Services, Special Product Packages, Foreign Currency Account and Services significantly and positively affect deposit mobilization in case of Awash bank in Bahir Dar. The study recommends branch managers to give priority to products that significantly affect deposit mobilization. en_US
