dc.description.abstract In this research study, a suitable maintenance strategy is selected using integrated multi-criteria decision-making techniques that consider uncertainty in decisionmaking and the interrelationships of criteria and sub-criteria. To achieve the main objective of the study, different published papers can be reviewed, 24 experts can be selected to answer the pairwise comparison of criteria, sub-criteria, and alternatives with respect to each sub-criteria. Finally, the weight of criteria, sub-criteria, and their interdependency are determined by the decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory-based analytic network process (DEMATEL-ANP) and interval type-2 fuzzy, whereas the alternatives are ranked or prioritized using interval type-2 fuzzy and the technique for order of preference by similarity to the ideal solution (TOPSIS) techniques. The results show that spare part inventory and energy consumption are determined as less important criteria, and criteria grouped under cause groups are used for long-term strategic decision and future improvement scope for the organization. The implication of the study shows that effective implementation of the selected maintenance strategy can efficiently handle the existing maintenance problems in the organization.
