dc.description.abstract Many studies reveal that the number of people using the internet via mobile devices has been increasing significantly. Mobile banking is a mobile device-based service provided by a bank or other financial institution, and to save time and cost in anywhere. Most banks in Ethiopia have already started using mobile banking to provide bank services to their customers. However, there are data security or encryption issues associated with mobile banking services such as bank account takeover fraud, debit and credit fraud, unauthorized access, virus attack, encryption issues, etc. These security issues cause violation of user privacy and economic crisis. This combination algorithm to solve encryption issues by complex combination encryption algorithm. The Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) is a symmetric key cryptographic algorithm that uses a cipher key and the message as an input and outputs a ciphertext which no one can understand or interpret unless they have in hand the symmetric cipher key, and more compatible with hardware. On the other hand, Rivest, Shamir and Adleman (RSA) is an asymmetric key cryptographic algorithm where each participant has a public key and a private key, good at performing software. The Least Significant Bit (LSB) algorithm is quick and easy. and steganography method, work around bit color alterations via palette manipulation. LSB insertion also works well with gray scale images. In this thesis, the three algorithms are the best selection for mobile banking data security encryption and decryption algorithms. The security performance evaluates encryption decryption time plus one because hacking process is more time normal decryption individually 0.1 to 0.2, 0.15 to 0.25, 0.27 to 0.37 and combination three algorithm 1.752 to 1.852. so, encryption increases security performance strength. The three encryption algorithms are better for commercial and Mobile Banking data transmission encryption decryption.
