dc.description.abstract The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of ten weeks of circuit strength training on the handball skill of u-17 years of age male handball project players at Ethiopian Police University. The total group for the study was twenty (n = 20) comprehensive sampling technique was used and divided into two groups by using the randomization method: an experimental group (n=10) and a control group (n=10). The control group (CG) did not participate in circuit strength training for this study, whereas the experimental group (EG) engaged three days per week for a total of 60 minutes duration. To achieve the objective of this study, a true experimental research design and a quantitative research approach were used. Data on speed dribbling, passing accuracy, and shooting accuracy were gathered through field handball skill testing. The significance of this study is help to physical education teachers and trainers. Data were analyzed by using Paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test statistical tools SPSS version 26th with a significant level of 0.05. Based on the data analyzed the pre-posttest handball skill of EG was significantly improved in speed dribbling passing accuracy and shooting accuracy (p =0.001, P= 0.001and P= 0.000, p<0.05), respectively. The results of this study indicate that ten weeks of circuit strength training had a significant effect on the speed dribbling, passing accuracy, and shooting accuracy of the Ethiopian Police University under-17 years of age male handball project players. All these selected handball skills had significantly improved in the intervention in the Circuit strength training program. Therefore, it is recommended that handball players and coaches should utilize the circuit strength training method with a scientific method of training because of its importance in developing some handball skills of handball players and avoiding traditional methods of training. en_US
