dc.description.abstract The purpose of this thesis work is to examine the factors affecting financial inclusion in Somali Regional state with evidence from Jigjiga City Administration. The study used a quantitative research approach and both descriptive and explanatory research design were adopted. The research was conducted with data collected from five purposed selected kebeles of the Jigjiga City Administration. A sample of 384 respondents was selected using multistage sampling technique. Hence 384 questionnaires were distributed and 374 were completed and used for the analysis, with response rate of 97%. Taking the nature of the data used in to account, Binary Logistic regression analysis techniques was used using SPSS version 25 software. The study revealed that all variables with the exception of occupation had a significant effect on the financial inclusion. As a result, it is recommended that policy makers, government, financial institutions, and other development organizations take in to account the aforementioned factors affecting financial inclusion in their attempt to address the problems of financial exclusion and combat poverty among certain segments of the population. en_US
