dc.description.abstract Background: Accessibility is the design of products, devices, service, vehicles and environment to be usable or affordable, available, acceptable together with quality, equity and safety by peoples or consumers. But also compare to the general population women’s have unequal access to health service, unmet health need and more vulnerable people to health problems. However never seen evidenced study to display about existing gape of health services accessibility for child bearing age of women in the region. General objective: To assess accessibility of health services and its associated factor for child bearing age of women’s at Gambella town, Western Ethiopia, 2022. Methods: Community-based cross-sectional study design and mixed methods were employed from November 20-to-December 20, 2022 GC. Via systematic random sampling technique 608 participants were selected and piloted and pre-tested well-structured questioners used for quantitative data. Those p-values <0.25 during bivariate analysis was eligible to multivariable analysis. AOR with CI 95% and p-value <0.05 were declared as factors associated with outcome variable. Semi-structured questionary was used to collect qualitative data, coded, grouped and analyzed manually through thematic approach. Result; Over all 587 respondents are participated in the study with a respondent rate of 96.54% therefor health services accessibility was 60.6% hence occupation of the respondents (AOR 1.830, CI 2.492, 135.6) and cost of transport (AOR 2.092, CI 1.372, 3.191) were positively associated with accessibility of health services. While information provision at reception of health facility (AOR 0.513, CI 0.341, 0.772), educational status of the respondent (AOR 0.297, CI 0.147, 0.597) and quality of health services (AOR 0.197, CI 0.081, 0.48) was negatively associated with accessibility of health services. Therefore; weak medical logistics supply system, interrupted fee health services provision and culture of the community were main identified hinder to health services access. Conclusion and recommendation The prevalence of health services access is low as compared with WHO recommendation. To end this gap FMoH, GRHB, health offices, health facilities and foreign aiders are better to review health service access and reorganized aspects in order to addressed health service for child bearing age of women.
