dc.description.abstract Modeling of Wireless Sensor Networks for power consumption in a cloud computing environment entails implementing Intelligent Power Management using a combination of smart sensors, actuators, a ZigBee wireless network, and software. WSN modeling for power consumption optimization aims to develop a real-time system that intelligently optimizes power consumption in a cloud computing environment . The WSN modeling system detects electrical parameters such as voltage and current and then calculates the power consumption of the ICT equipment in the cloud computing environment that needs to be optimized. This system's innovation is the implementation of a power consumption modeling a nd optimization mechanism. The proposed system is also user authentication, cost-effective, and simple to use. Because of these intelligent characteristics, it has become more energy efficient and people friendly. The proposed Modeling is designed using the design science research methodology, because design science allows for the creation of an artifact and its evaluation in a real-world situation. In addition, questionnaires, interviews, observations, and document analysis were used to collect appropriate data. Based on the findings of the interviews and the literature, the researcher proposed designing and developing an integrated WSN modeling that will be applicable for small and large scale data centers as well as cloud computing environments. The workflow of test and test environments are graphically expressed by designed architecture, and demonstrate the practical implementation of the Modeling. Configuring and developing a prototype were done to demonstrate the modeling in real scenario. Appropriate testing tools and programing language were used to simulate and develop the Modeling. The designed and developed prototype performance was evaluated using T-test and user acceptance testing. The T -test result 95% and the average user acceptance score is (4.208) which represents the category of ‘Very Good”. After expert’s evaluation, we have implemented the Modeling and the performance in the service was fit within the organization needs.
