dc.description.abstract Back ground: Leprosy is a chronic infectious disease caused by mycobacterium leprae. That predominantly affects the skin and peripheral nerves, resulting in neuropathy and associated long-term consequences, including deformities and disabilities. Leprosy is one of the diseases that leave a strong social and psychological impact on the persons affected (including their families) and the societies in which they live en_US
