The rising need for environmental friendly, and light -weight product production has led to the development of natural fiber reinforced polymer composites that meet the requirements of real -world applications. Due to a scarcity of man-made fiber for reinforcing the composite materials, and rising levels of pollution, the need for materials that are non-toxic to humans and have the right properties for certain applications was growing and going on. The main goal of this work was to fabricate and test hybrid plain woven hibiscus vitifolius and malva fibers-reinforced with unsaturated polyester composites for flexural, impact, tensile, and compressive strengths, as well as water absorption capa cities, by varying the fiber stacking sequences and orientations. The continuous fibers were obtained using water retting method of fiber extractions, and non-cellulose particles were removed using a 6 % NaOH treatment to enhance the bond and interfacial shear strengths between the fiber and matrix. Following that, composite laminates were made utilizing a hand lay-up process with 70wt% unsaturated polyester and 30wt% hibiscus vitifolius and malva fiber contents, as per the ASTM standard. Then, tensile tests, compressive tests, impact tests, flexural tests, and water absorption tests were performed using fiber orientations of 0 0 /90 0 , 45 0 /-45 0 , 0 0 /90 0 ,-45 0 /45 0 with various stacking sequences of four layered plain woven mats. The addition of fibers in polyester resin enhanced the composites' properties, with pure malva fiber stacked composite laminate (MMMM) having greater tensile, compressive, and flexural strengths of 118.133 MPa, 129.733, and 121.133 MPa, respectively , and pure hibiscus vitifolius fiber stacked composite laminate (HHHH) having lower water absorption of 0.8530%. Higher mechanical property can be found using pure malva fibers, and composite with lower water absorption from pure hibiscus vitifolius fibers reinforced composite, therefore, the aim should highlight developing composite using malva fiber to get higher mechanical property and hybrid by hibiscus vitifolius fiber to reduce water absorption. According to the findings, the hybrid hibiscus vitifolius and malva fiber reinforced polyester composite materials have the potential to be employed for automobile interior door panel application.
