Ethiopian cement companies are facing challenges which need attention by all the concerned include limitation of spare parts supply chain, limited access to finance foreign currency, dependence on imported raw materials. Tackling those challenges requires strong collaboration in the supply chain perspective among stake holders, foreign spare part suppliers. The research is quantitative and descriptive type of research. 34- Survey questions were designed to investigate the measurable role of supply chain collaboration on the operational performance at the Ethiopian cement industry. Out of 111 staffs selected sample size, 87 responses were received giving a response rate of 78%. The research survey also adopted a multiple linear regression analysis to report how well information sharing, joint-planning, trust supply chain visibility and uncertainty can determine the operational performance in Ethiopian cement industry. From the descriptive statistics the average total result out of 87 respondents of the survey questions of a collaborative practice in visibility, trust and uncertainty is nearly moderate has found but there still a possibility in improving the extent in trust and uncertainty of collaborative practice. The collaborative practice of Ethiopian cement industries in terms information sharing, joint planning and visibility of supply amongst the chain members is low and that reveals there should be improvement on the collaborative practice of information sharing amongst the chain members so as to achieve the overall operational performance of supply chain in the firm.
