dc.description.abstract Productivity improvement is an important aspect for any organization to survive and to achieve a competitive edge. So increasing productivity should be a big task for tomorrow. The study is aimed at finding ways to increase productivity for the manufacturing company and will make standard time development on the die changing process. For this, the study was done using workstudy techniques. Work-study is a generic term for those techniques which are used in the examination of human effort in its entire context and which lead to a systematic investigation of all the factors affecting the efficiency and economy of a situation under review to effect improvement. Work-study has two parts: method (motion) and time study. By using method and time study procedures, it is done by looking at each method and measuring the time it takes for the production company to use it. Relevant data were collected using the direct observation method and the queries were unstructured questionnaires. To see how productivity has grown, using arena simulation software and also for developing the proposed method and exit method flow process chart. In this study, by solving the problem of belling machine, by automating the pipe transportation method and pipe downloading method, it was possible to increase the productivity of at least 45 bell pipes per day. It is also possible to avoid the cost of the operator's payment and the fatigue of the operator. Another is that by maintaining standard time, the maintenance team productivity has been increased by reducing the wastage of less than 16% of the time spent on the die changing process for various reasons. In general, the use of work-study techniques can significantly increase productivity. en_US
