dc.description.abstract |
The study was intended to analyze the determinants of customer’s electronic banking usage in Commercial Bank of Ethiopia in case of Addis Zemen Town branches. The study used primary data collected from 196 sample respondents. The sample respondents were selected randomly, and proportionate simple random sampling technique was employed to select the sample respondents. The collected data were analyzed by employing descriptive statistics and logistic regression. The major finding of the study shows that among the demographic related factors customer’s education level has positively influenced their electronic banking usage services, whereas among the institutional related factors the trained man power has a positive significant factor that influence the usage of electronic banking. Lastly, among the customer related factors both perceived Usefulness and perceived ease of use the service has positively influenced their electronic banking usage services, whereas perceived risk and lack of willingness to use negatively significant influence on their electronic banking usage in the study area. The authors recommended that the institution has to seriously focus on the improvement of frequent quality service delivery in its daily operations that encourage their electronic banking usage and the branch supervisors has to deal with the concerned body on the network interruption and service charge levied by the bank in order to facilitate the smooth functioning of customers electronic banking usage services effectively. |
