This study was conducted to evaluate the phenotypic performances and estimate genetic parameters of Fogera cattle at Andassa livestock research center data collected from 2000 to 2018 from herds maintained at Andassa Livestock Research Center was used to estimate growth performance traits (birth weight and weaning weight), milk production performance (milk traits) and reproduction performance. The General Linear Model (GLM) procedures of Statistical Analyses System was used to analyze the least squares mean for phenotypic traits, while Wombat software was used to estimate genetic parameters and breeding values. Calf sex, calf birth season, and calf birth year were the main fixed effects used for birth weight (BWT) and weaning weight (WWT). Parity of dam, calf birth year and season were the main fixed effects used to identify their significance for milk traits. Calving year and season, animal source and parity of cow were main fixed effects to identify their significance for reproductive performance traits. The overall least squares mean birth weight, weaning weight, calving interval, days open, age at first calving, number of service per conception, daily milk yield, lactation milk yield and lactation length were 21.28±0.08 kg, 101.25±0.75 kg, 20.36±0.32 months, 13.33±0.401 months, 51.92±0.45 months,1.1±0.01, 1.98±0.40 liters, 482.43±0.02 liters, and 238.32±0.3 days, respectively. The direct heritability for birth weight and weaning weight were 0.21±0.07 and 0.18±0.21, respectively. Similarly, 0.33±0.27, 0.27±0.001, and 0.20±0.23 were the direct heritability estimates for daily milk yield, lactation milk yield and lactation length of Fogera cattle, respectively. The repeatability of daily milk yield, lactation milk yield and lactation length were 0.33, 0.55, and 0.48, respectively. Similarly, the phenotypic and genotypic correlation between birth weight, was 0.21±0.04,0.49 whereas the phenotypic and genetic correlation between daily milk yield and lactation milk yield, daily milk yield with lactation length and lactation milk yield with lactation length were
