dc.description.abstract	The main focus of the study is to study of waste removal at Kombolcha Textile Share Company spinning mill. Dust pollution in cotton spinning mills in the departments namely blow-room, carding, speed-frame ring-frame and cone winding departments was very high which not only affect the health of the workers but also the quality of yarn. Due to these reasons the study was done to solve the spinning section waste generation .by actually collecting, studying and analyzing the actual data directly from the spinning mill during the production. This thesis deals with the various control points and remedial measures in each spinning process for the control of waste so as to improve the waste removal in spinning. The various factors influencing the waste removal and control of hard waste and their norms are also discussed. The influence of process and machine parameters on control of waste in blow room, carding and comber and the influence of modern developments on waste control have been discussed. The waste removal of the said textile mill had been assessed and compared with the SITRA norms (India) and conclusions were drawn to improve its waste removal efficiency.	en_US
