The results showed that changes of the environment were chiefly happened during the imperial regimes as well as the Därg.The reason for environmental change was primarily the demand for more land for agriculture, fuel and construction as well as for grazing land. Due to this the area was deforestation, soil bared and land degradation. This sequentially affected the life of human beings as well as animals in Farţa and surrounding regions. The major impacts of environmental change in the Wäräda were temperature change, reduction of indigenous trees, and reduction of vegetables, water shortage and others. Now a day all the land cover changes were transformed in to settlement and crop lands at expend of very little forest and grazing land coverage. This change of the environment caused for the occurrence of various problems such as drought, flood, disease and pests that resulted the death of many peoples and animals in the district through out the century.
