dc.description.abstract was used to investigate the water quali1y of Borkena River and m assess the contammmion potcot1i1l of industrial effluents at kombolcha focusing on 10:1ic metal> Pb and Cd. The detection and quamification of each rncral in samples were done by standard a•ldi1ion method. In water samples from Borkeoa River before it joins with rbe drainage system am.I froen Bihar 0-M llniversity tap wa~-r: Pb and Cd were round within 1he permissible limit value of \'.·HO and f'AO.
