In order to characterize the changes, of the- I0\\11, producing land use map and database for each assessment year 'were necessary. With the application of Remote Sensing data and GTS ' soil wares, the above.required results were obtained. The numbers enable later to reach al a good conclusion about the land use and relared morphological changes. The change in the land use over the last 4i years, 19,?7:!004, was assessed by two methods: analyzing by category and considering the land use classes independently. Contiguity and , Abstract compactness indexes were applied to show the morphological changes of the town. Empirical parameters were used in both cases to summarize the results and recommend possibk; solutions, which capable of a base for further researches.
