dc.description.abstract	The main focus of the study is to study the yarn realization of Kombolcha Textile Share Company by actually collecting, studying and analysing the actual data directly from the textile mill during the production operations of spinning. This thesis deals with the various control points and remedial measures in each spinning process for the control of waste so as to improve the yarn realization in spinning. The various factors influencing the yarn realization and control of hard waste and their norms are also discussed. The influence of process and machine parameters on control of waste in blow room, carding and comber and the influence of modern developments on waste control have been discussed. The yarn realization of the said textile mill had been assessed and compared with the SITRA (2011) norms and conclusions were drawn to improve its yarn realization.
