The fact that, the eight selected Bahir Dar area governmental schools (9-12) are schooling an Average of 16,000 students each year and their mandatory school uniform rule inspires to work on standardization of the uniform especially for teenagers because 100% of the students wear locally tailored uniform which customized for their need except the same color with shad variation, different fabric type, construction technique, thread type and accessory type. But the idea of wearing uniform comes to eliminate such differences. For better uniformity producing them in mass production is very crucial qbut apparel manufacturers‟ needs standardized material, design and size chart that suits the target market, As such developing an appropriate size chart, material and design for higher education students to standardize their uniform is required. To create such fit for purpose uniforms I incorporate statistical analysis to assess the current uniform area of improvement and the need and wants of the student, student parent schools and manufacturers. According to both secondary and primary data‟s I developed measurement charts by measuring 398 students, a patterns, and a samples for grade 9&10, 11&12 female and male students at a cost of ----- for feedback analysis. According to the feedback 95% stake holders accepted the standardization of the uniform and 1.5% recommend to consider decreasing the cost.
