dc.description.abstract Abstract This project work is discussed to investigate the equation of motion of sphere in three dimensions. It is done by considering three dimensional irrotational flows over a sphere using potential functions. There are different cases to formulate their equations as motion of sphere through an infinite mass of liquid at rest at infinity, concentric spheres (problem of initial motion) ,equation of motion of a sphere, sphere projected in a liquid under gravity, pressure distribution on a sphere, liquid streaming past a fixed sphere. Equations which represent such motions are derived. en_US
