dc.description.abstract The study was conducted in Fasiledes preparatory school with the objective of , number of physics teachers' commitment to support the students in doing experimental activities; developing teachers with training and experience; keeping moral of the teachers to support experimental activities are key points. Based on - ~ -this Physics teachers are being key persons in relation to the problem were recommended to consider the existing status of physics laboratory and practical activities in the school. Keywords: Attitude, laboratory activities, physics, practical activities, - . investigating Attitude of grade 11 students towards physics experimental activities. To this effect, the study tried to answer three basic research questions in relation to the feeling, perception and reaction of students towards physics experimental activities. Since the research was designed to assess and describe the attitude of the students a quantitative research approach was used. Hence a descriptive survey research design was applied to investigate and describe the problem. Sample of the study was 170 students selected among the population by systematic random sampling technique. The questioner on. the part of the students' attitude contained three categories of feeling's, perception's and reaction's with a total of35 items of which 10 for feeling's, 12 for perception's and 13 for reaction's. Qualitative data were coded and analyzed using SPSS 20.The result of the study indicates that over all attitudes of th~ students' was positive; and in particular positive for perception; and negative fol feeling and reaction.
