The purpose ofthe present study was to determine the effect offootball training on some selected
physical fitness qualities
ofFemales' youth projects. 3 month offootball training could improve
player's physical fitness qualities such as squat jump, Bounding speed, Illinois agility drill
and
seat and reach drill. 40 Subjects had divided into 2 equal groups, an experimental training and a
control group. The experimental training group performed
in a 3-month physical fitness qualities
training program like as squat jump, Bounding speed, Jllinois agility drill and
seat- and- reach
drill. However, the control group did not perform this selectedfitness training qualities unless all
groups undergone normal training program. All subjects participated
in 4 physical fitness
qualities tests: explosive leg power,
30-meter run, Illinois agility, seat and reach. The players
trained
3 days a weekfor a total ofJ2 weeks, which consisted ofa J2 weeks per iodized training
program. Both had taken pre and post- testing. Experimental method had employed to collect
data used to analyze the change mean scores
to experimental and control for (pre- post) values.
The data
had analyzed and compared with the help ofstatistical procedures in which arithmetic
mean, standard deviation
and Paired-Samples t test had worked. The level of p~O. 05 was
considered significant.
The result show significant relationship ofplaying ability with explosive
leg power, Speed, Agility andflexibility.
The results ofthis study showed that the selectedphysical
fitness quality training improved players' physical performance.
The major findings in this study
also suggest that the football-specific explosive leg power, 30-meter
run, illinois agility, seat and
reach test can be utilized in the testing and identification offootball players' performance.
Generally physical fitness quality training had a significant effect on players' performance
through the required tests. Hence, physical fitness quality training has been preferential
for the
enhancement
offootball player performance. |
