This research was conducted in selected clubs in Amhara National League foot ball clubs,
Amhara, Ethiopia on October, 2014 - June, 2015. It aimed
to explore the attacking performance
under different foot ball clubs. Attacking profiles analysis was taken from three clubs
(A WWC,
APC, and BDK) for six subsequent home matches. An interview for the clubs coaches, captains
and sport officials and semi-structured questionnaire surveyfor the players were administered
to
comprehend the overall attacking profiles, performance and match fitness as well as the factors
that hamper its effective implementation during the matches.
The result of the analysis of
variance revealed that there was significant difference in the SOT (P<0.01), SFT (P<0.05), CK
(P<0.05) and
GS (P<0.01) attacking profiles between foot ball clubs. Thus, relatively higher
mean value
ofSOT (6.5 ±1.87), CK (4.5±1.8) and GS (2.67 ± 0.82) was registered on the AWWC
followed by
APC whilst the higher average value of SFT was observed in the BDK club
(l1.17±2.7). However, there was no significant difference (P<0.05) in the
PK and TA profiles
between the selected clubs. Regardless
ofsignificant, the higher mean value ofPK (0.33 ±O.52)
and TA (l6.17±3.6) were registered in the AWWc. The present study further showed that there
was considerable difference
in the SOT, TA, SFT and GS ability by areas in the foot ball field, in
that the higher occurrence to score the goals through SOT, TA and SFT were observed at area
"B" whilst the lower was on the area "H"
in the foot ball club. Furthermore, the questionnaire

of the players revealed that, assertiveness, match fitness and psychological preparation
are
an important mechanism to enhance the AP ofa club. They also noted that some factors such
as shortage
ofsport felids, lack ofinitiation, discipline and enthusiastic approach ofthe coaches
