dc.description.abstract The current graduate project effect of pressure on the superconducting transition temperature and some physical properties of CaPd2P2. The effect of pressure on the superconducting phenomenon of some alloys have been an influential area of research in condensed matter physics. Experimental and theoretical studies of the influence of pressure on the superconducting materials have formed a substantial basis for understanding more broad classes of unconventional superconductors including high-TC cuprates, in which the electron pairing interaction is responsible for superconductivity which is believed to be mediated by spin fluctuations. Therefore, in this graduate project work a detailed review has be conducted on the effect of pressure on superconducting transition temperature and on some physical properties of CaPd2P2. Phase diagrams have been also plotted to demonstrate some of the vital properties of CaPd2P2. en_US
