dc.description.abstract Estimation of time of concentration faces a great extent of uncertainties in hydrological design provision and introduction of water resource management policies. Researches has shown that the estimation of time of concentration falls under the influence dissimilarity of watershed characteristics and climatic conditions in the utilization of empirical models over different watershed area. This study aims to determine which type of Empirical model subsequent data such asrainfall, streamflow, watershed characteristics data were collected through recording devices and GIS analysis. After data processing, rank-based selection method was conducted to identify the best performing empirical model. Analysis on the collected data demonstrated that watershed area, flow channel length and channel slope were strongly associated to estimating the time of concentration. The analysisindicate that Bransby Williams resulted the least margin of error as compared with the Observed values. On contrary McCuen model came out resulting underestimationwhile overestimation of time of concentration.
