dc.description.abstract In this project, we used the variational iteration method (VIM) to find the approximate solution of linear and nonlinear Volterra Fredholm integro- ordinary differential equations of the second kind. The reduction in the size of computational work gives this method a wider applicability. This study provides an analytical approximation to determine the behavior of the solution. Moreover, we proved the existence and uniqueness results and the examples are included to demonstrate the validity and applicability of the proposed technique. Finally, we also discussed the comparison between the approximate and the exact solutions by using MATLAB software and the graphs are included to show its error. en_US
