dc.description.abstract The purpose of this study was to investigate effects of continuous training method on selected physical fitness and physiological variables among football players. The study employed experimental research design, 30 randomly selected male students with the age of (EG1=16.33± 0.448 and CG2=16.17±0.458 had divided randomly into 2 groups at which group one got treatment with continuous training method (N = 15) and group two was a control group (N =15), but only EG were participated in 3 sessions per week of 45-60 minutes per session of fitness training. Pre and post test results of the selected fitness variables were taken from both groups. Muscular endurance was tested using one minute sit up test, speed was tested 30meter dash, Muscular strength were measured by using Wall-sit test, flexibility was measured by sit and reach test, agility measured by Illinois test, RHR is measured in counting at radial arteries Res, BMI measure BMI test, BP Dia and BP Sys, measured by BP apparatus. The data collected from the study subject was analyzed using SPSS version 23 software by using paired t-test to determine the mean differences/changes from pre to post test results of the variables. The results showed on physical fitness components such as ME (MD = 13.800, SD= 4.443, t (14)12.029, p= 0.000 so p< 0.05), speed (MD = -0.140, SD=0 .124, t (14)-4.365, p= 0.001so p< 0.05), agility (MD = -1.233, SD= .832, t (14)-5.741, p= 0.000 so p< 0.05). MS (MD = 13.800, SD= 5.882, t (14)9.086, p= 0.000 so p< 0.05)., flexibility (MD = 3.267, SD= 2.939, t (14)4.305, p= 0.001 so p< 0.05) , body composition(MD =0.654, SD= .485, t(14)-5.220, p= 0.000 so p< 0.05) , RHR (MD = -4.00) , BP Dia (MD =-0.133, SD=0.915 t(14) -.564 & p= 0.582 so p>0.05., and BP Sys, (MD =-5.867, SD= 3.889, T(14) -5.843 & p= 0.000so p< 0.05. were improved significantly following the 12-week fitness Exercise in EG at (p<0.05) except diastolic blood pressure. But, no significant fitness improvement was found in all selected variables of CG (p>0.05). Therefore, the null hypotheses were partially rejected in selected physical fitness and physiological variables. Whereas partially accepted in diastolic blood pressure. Based on the finding of this study it can concluded that 12- week continuous training method have significant effect on student’s physiological and physical fitness components. en_US
