dc.description.abstract War is an overall destructive phenomenon that destroys everything including economic and human capitals. Different countries have been disrupted and become backward because of the war in the world. Especially developing countries are the victims of war, terrorism and civil war. The purpose of this study was to find out the war against TPLF and its effect in Amhara Regional State case of Kimir Dingay Town. The study used the qualitative research approach. Focus group discussion, in-depth interview, key informant interview, observation and documents were employed as data collection instruments. Thematic analysis technique was used to analyze the data. The findings of this study indicated that social, economical and psychological consequences as critical crises of the war and local peoples’ resistance to war, & the role of stake-holders to the rehabilitation of war-affected societies and public infrastructures. Thus, the government and stakeholders have to provide sufficient aid for those war-affected societies and furnish the war-affected public infrastructures to provide quality services to the societies.
