dc.description.abstract Managing the design process plays a major role on the Ethiopian construction industry to delivering the projects on time, to budget and to the specified quality. The objective of this study is to investigate the design management practices of Amhara design and supervision works enterprise. Professional‟s opinion and experience on existing design management practice were discussed through questionnaire analysisand desk studies were done on three project that are designed by Amhara design and supervision works enterpriserecently. The population of the study were consultant that have direct contribution for the project and at different position. The results shows that consultants design controlling process is not integrated with the management and evaluation of information throughout the design process with considering the time constraints. en_US
