dc.description.abstract In the world, machines are designed and manufactured according the problem it will solve and sometimes technology gets old according to the purpose it specifically aimed to solve. So updating the past one is more economically feasible rather than replaced in a new one. In Ethiopia, the industrial revolution has not yet loudly spread out. Most machines applicable here are anciently designed and have a high dependency on human resources. Amhara pipe factory is one of such types of machinery has been stocked. Limitations of the design are due to the passion those machines was designed since before two decade ago and the belief knowing about the consequence of human safety and productivity were the cause how the ergonomics miss pointed. Greenhouse machine is one of the highly productive machines in this company in all aspects of measurement and also it deserves highly human power in every way of manufacturing products. This is due to machine ideology during designing may be concerned on in product demand manner. This thesis will analyze how much impact has happened and how can reduce the machine to human interaction. During this, there may be some complaints about the reduction of human availability since most of the literate people in Ethiopia are idle. But here the basic issue is to insure how long the man can work without injury and sustain the company’s productivity by redesigning pneumatically assisted hybrid shaft replacement and unloading machine to excluding back pain causes due to inclination and pulling much load at work with respect to minimizing the annual production coast that can be illuminated around 129,000 birr per year.
