dc.description.abstract The design of op-amps continues to pose a challenge as the supply voltage and transistor channel lengths scale down with each generation of CMOS technologies. In this thesis, a single stage telescopic CMOS op-amp is designed to obtain a high gain, wider unity gain frequency and low power consumption by the device. The design operates at 5V power supply in the 1 m CMOS technology. We have achieved a single stage telescopic op-amp with an open loop gain of 77.777dB, unity gain frequency of 1.9390KHz, a very low power dissipation by the components (0.589mW)and almost zero output o set voltage (38.22pV). Key Words: Telescopic CMOS Op Amp, SR, DC open loop gain, ICMR, CMRR, OrCAD PSPICE. en_US
