dc.description.abstract Background: Soil-transmitted helminths are parasitic worms that are widely distributed in the tropical and subtropical regions. In Ethiopia, it has high and cause huge burden. Several soil transmitted helminth species show a pattern of household clustering with regard to prevalence and intensity. However, there is scarcity of data on status of soil transmitted helminths infection among family contacts of soil transmitted helminths infected individuals in the study area. en_US
